The European Association for Digital Humanities (EADH) has awarded ACUH member Gamze Saygi a grant for her research project 'A digital exploration of spatial movements in Amsterdam during premodern times'. The EADH grants aim to encourage the development of innovative projects that promise to benefit the humanities. This year, the association received 32 applications, covering a wide range of topics with a variety of intended outcomes, such as tools, databases, and networking events. Gamze will use the grant to further her work on the intra-urban mobility of Amsterdam merchants in Amsterdam during the 1700s.
