The Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium (KVAB) has awarded Janna Coomans the biennial Pro Civitate Prize for excellent work on urban history for her dissertation “In Pursuit of a Healthy City: Sanitation and the Common Good in the late medieval Low Countries.” The ceremony took place in Brussels on 14 December 2019.
